The new version of the Hulu app for iOS [iTunes link] includes Apple Watch support. The app lets you use your watch to control playback not just on your iPhone, but also on the Xbox One, PS4 and Chromecast.

The app lets you pause, turn captions on or off and skip back ten seconds at a time. It's not as functional as the Apple TV remote built into the Apple Watch, but it works well.
We tested it with a Chromecast, and it worked like a champ. Hopefully support for other devices, including Roku and Fire TV, will come in the near future.
The remote control potential of a smartwatch is one of its cooler services — and this sort of feature should expand with watchOS 2 this fall.
